When should you use PDF tools?
This category is for everyday PDF work: combining attachments into one file for an application or submission, splitting out certain pages, removing blank pages, fixing the order of a scan, rotating sideways pages, turning pages into images, filling in and signing forms, adding watermarks and page numbers, redacting personal data, shrinking file size, and locking a PDF with a password or unlocking a PDF whose password you know.
Documents such as contracts, diplomas and payslips are usually private. Because processing happens on your device, files are not uploaded anywhere, and with an ordinary PDF the tool keeps working even if you go offline after the page has opened. The other tools can’t process password-protected PDFs yet, so unlock the file first with Unlock PDF (you need the correct password).
