Use Split PDF

Your file is processed on your device and never sent to a server.

How to use Split PDF

  1. Choose or drag one PDF file. Thumbnails of all pages will appear.

  2. Choose how to split: every page, by range, or extract selected pages.

  3. Click the action button, then download. If the result has more than one file, it is packed in a ZIP.

Three ways to split

Every page creates one PDF per page, which suits splitting a multi-sheet scan. By range creates one PDF for each range you write: 1-3, 4-6, 7- gives three files. Extract selected pages takes the pages you mark and combines them into one new PDF.

Writing ranges: separate them with commas, use a hyphen for a range, and end with a hyphen to run to the last page. Example: 1-3, 5, 8-.

Good to know

Pages are copied without recompression, so quality matches the original. Bookmarks and interactive form fields are not carried over to the output files.

Output files are named after the source document, for example report-page-03.pdf or report-pages-1-3.pdf, so they are easy to recognize and never overwrite each other.

Questions about Split PDF

How do I take just one page?

Choose the Extract selected pages mode, click the thumbnail of the page you want (or type its number), then click Extract. The result is one PDF containing that page.

What if the result has many files?

The files are packed into one ZIP so you download them in one go. Open the ZIP on your computer or phone to get the PDFs.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs in your browser, so documents such as contracts, diplomas or payslips never leave your device. You can test it yourself: open the tool page, wait a moment, disconnect from the internet, then choose a PDF. With an ordinary PDF, the tool keeps working.

What about password-protected PDFs?

Password-protected PDFs can’t be processed with this tool yet, and it will tell you if you choose one. Unlock the file first with the Unlock PDF tool on Tipamedia (you need the correct password), then try again.

What is the maximum PDF size?

100 MB per file. This limit keeps the browser, especially on phones, from running out of memory. Files that large can feel slow; if it stalls, close other tabs or try a computer.
