Workdays here means Monday to Friday. National public holidays, collective leave and company-specific holidays are not counted, because they differ by year and by organization. For a deadline that depends on official working days, subtract the holidays that apply from the result.
By default, the difference between 1 and 10 January is 9 days. Turn on “include the end date” when both dates are counted (for example a hotel stay or a leave period), and the result is 10 days.
Subtract the earlier date from the later one. This calculator does it while accounting for month lengths and leap years, and shows the result in days, weeks and years-months-days.
No. Only weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are excluded. National holidays differ every year, so they need to be subtracted manually.
If the target month has no 31st, the result falls on the last day of that month. For example, 31 January plus one month becomes 28 or 29 February.
Without it, the start day is treated as zero and is not counted. With it, both the start day and the end day are counted, so the result is one day longer.
